mariah was kept outside most of the time because my stepmother didn,t want a big dog in the house so had to be kept on a chain because #1 afghans are know to wander and #2 the road we lived on was bad for people speeding and dogs and cats getting ran over but at night i,d bring her in and she slept with me, i also would play with her in the pasture where she could run free and took her for long walks she was always a very happy girl
